With all the 70,000 tickets for the Singapore Grand Prix snapped up, some fans still managed to find the best views of the race for free! / k! E) y1 P$ |1 _% X5 e. g

On Sunday, staff of ipac Asia, a financial planning company, showed up at the premises almost two hours ahead of the Grand Prix final to grab the best seats in the house. " H0 R- _' ?7 H; a7 T5 y

Anthony Rozario, ipac Asia's vice-president for media relations, said: "When invites went out, the response has been overwhelming, our clients are appreciative of the fact that we're doing this. We have a great view of the trackside, almost 3/4 of trackside. So, why don't we make use of it and just have a party." $ D: J1 F0 [5 f; X& r. K

" a! y% f8 U' ]0 m' b7 ~Guests at the premises could catch a good portion of the race from the 27th floor - from as far as turn 8 at the War Memorial Park, past Anderson Bridge to turn 18 in front of the Marina Bay floating platform.

You really get a good view of what the drivers are doing, watching them brake into corners and also the acceleration of the cars down the streets. It's a different perspective but I sort of like it," said Eugene Lam, an ipac staff.
