OCBC launches 30-year tenure syariah-compliant home financing scheme in Malaysia

Singapore OCBC Bank has launched its 30-year tenure syariah-compliant home financing scheme in Malaysia.

The bank said the scheme, called OCBC Idaman Home

Financing-i, aims to make home-ownership easier for those who had just entered the workforce.

It offers low fixed instalment rates with tenures ranging from 10 to 30 years or until the person reaches the age of 65, whichever is earlier.

The scheme is applicable for residential properties, both landed and non-landed.

OCBC said at longer tenures and fixed instalment rates, the home-financing scheme makes the initial payment obligations, less prohibitive.
